Carries out painting and finishing work according to approved specifications, maintenance schedules, supervisor instructions and site safety requirements.
Inspect and prepare walls, ceilings, doors and other assigned surfaces.
Clean, scrape, sand, fill cracks and complete minor surface repairs before painting.
Apply primers, paints and approved coatings using suitable tools and methods.
Match approved colours and achieve consistent coverage and finish quality.
Protect floors, furniture, fixtures and surrounding areas from dust and paint.
Complete touch-ups and repainting tasks according to work orders.
Use ladders, access equipment, PPE and ventilation controls safely within training and authorisation.
Store paints, solvents and tools safely and follow product safety instructions.
Minimise waste, clean work areas and report defects, hazards and completed work.
Experience in building painting, finishing or maintenance preferred, preferably in the UAE.
Knowledge of surface preparation, paint types, application methods and finishing techniques.
Ability to use brushes, rollers and relevant painting tools safely.
Attention to detail and ability to achieve neat, consistent finishes.
Understanding of chemical safety, PPE and safe working at height.
Ability to follow specifications and supervisor instructions.
Good teamwork and willingness to work at assigned client locations.
Shifts, weekends, public holidays or overtime may be required according to operational needs and applicable policy.
